What does personal image mean to you?
Personal image is much more than clothes. It is a way of expressing who you are and how you want to present yourself to the world. When your image feels aligned with your personality, you also feel more comfortable and confident.
What is the first thing you look at when working with a new client?
I start by listening. I need to understand the person, their lifestyle, their needs and what they want to achieve. From there, we can work on colors, shapes, style and wardrobe in a way that really makes sense for them.
Do you think style can be learned?
Absolutely. Style is not something reserved for people who are naturally interested in fashion. Once you understand what works for you and why, getting dressed and shopping become much easier.
How important are trends in your work?
Trends can be inspiring, but they should never dictate your style. I prefer to use them selectively and only when they fit the person. The goal is to build a wardrobe that feels current but also personal and useful.
What are some of the most common mistakes people make when shopping?
Buying without a clear idea of what they really need. It is very easy to be influenced by trends, discounts or impulse purchases. Learning to shop with intention helps you save time, make better choices and get much more from your wardrobe.
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Seeing the change in confidence. Sometimes a client starts the process feeling unsure about what suits them or frustrated with their wardrobe, and gradually they begin to understand themselves better and make decisions with much more confidence.
How has working in fashion influenced your approach to personal image?
Fashion gives you a strong visual perspective, but working directly with people teaches you that style has to work in real life. The best solution is not necessarily the most fashionable one; it is the one that makes sense for that particular person.
What would you like people to take away from working with you?
I want them to understand their own style well enough to make decisions independently. The objective is not to create dependence on an image consultant, but to give people the tools and confidence to know what works for them.
