Karissa Rose

You’ve worked with some major brands like Netflix, Pretty Little Thing, and boohoo. What’s been the most exciting collaboration so far, and what made it special?

I’ve truly loved working with all the brands I’ve partnered with, but my collaboration with Raising Cane’s I really enjoyed. They gave me the creative freedom to fully be myself, and that meant so much. It felt less like a brand deal and more like a partnership where my personality could shine.

Acting and content creation can be demanding. How do you balance both careers while continuing to grow creatively?

Balance can definitely be challenging at times, but I’ve learned that putting myself first is the key. I prioritize self-care, take breaks when I need them, and remind myself to enjoy life outside of work. That time to reset actually helps me stay inspired and creative in both worlds.

What do you love most about acting, and how do you choose the roles or projects you say yes to?

What I love most about acting is the creativity it allows me. It pushes me out of my comfort zone and lets me step into roles I never imagined for myself. When choosing projects, I trust my instincts and make sure the opportunity aligns with who I am. I also rely on my team’s insight—they always have my best interests in mind.

Social media has become such a powerful tool for creators. How do you stay authentic online while building such a strong presence?

It’s not always easy, especially with so many outside opinions, but staying true to who I am is everything. I remind myself why I started and make sure my content reflects the real me. That authenticity has helped me build real connections with people, which is what it’s all about.

You’re also passionate about charity work, especially with Forever Footprints. How did you get involved, and what does that mission mean to you personally?

Twelve years ago, I lost my little brother, and Forever Footprints was the organization that helped support my family during that incredibly difficult time. Their compassion meant the world to us, and now, giving back through them is my way of sharing that same love and support with others.

When you’re not on set or creating content, how do you recharge and stay grounded?

I spend time doing things I truly enjoy—whether that’s being alone, working out, traveling, or just relaxing with friends. Those little moments bring me back to myself and keep me grounded amidst all the busyness.

What’s one lesson the entertainment industry has taught you that you think everyone, especially young women, should hear?

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that it’s okay to be a little selfish. Put your needs first, stand up for what you believe in, and never change who you are to fit in. Stay true to yourself, and trust that the right opportunities will find you when you’re aligned with your truth.

If you could play any role, in any genre or production, what would your dream role look like?

I’d love to star in a reality TV show that really showcases who I am. Something fun, real, and completely me—that’s the dream!

What’s next for Karissa Rose? Any upcoming projects or personal goals you’re excited to share?

I’m always working on new projects, both personally and professionally. There’s a lot in the works, so definitely stay tuned—exciting things are coming!
