I’ve wanted to be an actress since I was 4 years old, but my parents thought I was too young. That didn’t stop me because I kept asking every year and it wasn’t until they saw me in a school play that they realized I was serious about this craft.
First and foremost, acting has given me confidence as a person and in all aspects of my life. It has taught me how to delve deep into my emotions and better face them and to emphasize more with people.
I am so passionate about this art form. It’s a tough business but when you can do what you love, all the rejection, blood, sweat and tears are so worth it.
I absolutely idolize Meryl Streep, Zendaya, Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Florence Pugh, and Austin Butler.
This is a tough business and especially if you are a new actor because the competition is insane but that doesn’t mean there are not opportunities. I think it depends on the person and their work ethic, drive and belief in themselves.
I recently finished filming a thriller in Oklahoma called “Calculated Obsession” with an amazing director – Ryan J. Francis – and cast and am looking forward to the release of other movies including “Mama Bear,” “Roswell Delirium” with Anthony Michael Hall and “Curse of Vandor” with Dee Wallace. I begin filming a horror this spring as well and am very grateful for every opportunity and feel extremely blessed.
