Interview
What got you into acting and dancing that made you realize that it was your chosen path?
To be honest, I realized it over quarantine. It was the time when everything slowed down and I started thinking about what I actually want to do with my life. I remember that when I was little me and my friend used to do little shows where we sang, danced and modeled, I remember, I thought to myself that this is what I really love, and I really want to do it in the future. But then reality kinda came into my life and I forgot? But then quarantine happened, and I started to think about my life, and the more I focused on what I like to do the clearer it became to me that this is my real passion.
What are some of your early performance experiences?
One of my earliest performance experience was when I was 5. In my ballet school it was mandatory to perform at the end of the year in the theatre. It was always a story, and every class performed a different scene. I remember my class choreographed frogs, I personally HATED them, I mean the dresses were cute and the choreography was good but the gloves each of us had to wear were just outrageous.
Has there been one particular moment in your career that you’re most proud of?
I don’t think there has been a particular moment that I’m the most proud of yet. I’m very grateful and happy how things worked out. I am really happy with my school and the fact that I can study in Los Angeles. I know there is a lot in store for me that I will be definitely proud of.
What do you feel makes you unique?
What makes me unique I think is my curiosity. I have interests in a lot of things, and I am a quick learner. I am bilingual, I speak both Polish and English, but I am also learning French and Spanish. I did multiple sports, tennis, taekwondo-do, acrobatic gymnastics, skis, and ballet. I also have passion for learning about new cultures, I have been on exchange year in USA. And before I went on my exchange year, I was learning to play the piano which unfortunately ended, and I don’t remember a lot, but I would love go back to learning. And I am a pretty good cook.
Who are some of the filmmakers or actors today that you take inspiration from or you’re looking to collaborate with?
I have a lot of inspirations. Especially to people my age and little older. I’m amazed with their knowledge and skills. I would love to work with Tom Holland on any project, I really respect his work ethic and really like him as a person and an actor. I believe that his work is very well presented, and I would love to work with someone like him.
In today’s Hollywood, there is a significant push for greater inclusivity and representation of women.
How do you see your work contributing to this movement, and what changes do you still hope to see in the industry?
I hope to see more women in creative roles and more varied, authentic female stories. I hope that I can be a part of that and share those powerful stories of women across the world.
Looking ahead, what other projects or dreams do you hope to achieve in the near future?
There is really a lot. I believe in keeping my desires close to my heart, trusting that some things are most meaningful when kept private. But once they happen, I will be more than happy to share them with the world.
