About
Taylor Fangmann was born in Ohio and raised in a town of less than 1200 people before she convinced her family to move to Los Angeles to allow her to pursue a career in acting. Coming from a military family, until now Taylor spent most of her life moving around. While some see the disadvantages of moving from place to place, Taylor saw it as the perfect way to explore new places, learn about new cultures, and meet new people.
These life experiences have led her to find the positive in every situation. Aside from acting, her passion is raising awareness to the needs of those with Down Syndrome. Having a little sister with Down Syndrome has taught Taylor the importance of inclusivity and kindness for those with special needs. Taylor’s ultimate goal is to be a bright light in the world lighting the way for not only her sister, but for those that need a little extra support, love, and kindness.

When did you start to get interested in acting?
Well, I first started my interest in art was in school when we did art class. I loved having the freedom of creativity with drawing anything we dreamed of. Then when I went to drama class, I absolutely loved being able to watch a whole crew put on a performance for our small little town was truly amazing.

Remember never stop dreaming!
Which is the part you enjoy the most about acting?
The part I most enjoy about art is no two are alike and even if there similar they are two completely different pieces that make them each unique.
Most artists say that through their art they learn more about themselves, heal injuries… In which aspects has acting helped you?
My art helps me express who I am and helps me learn who I want to be. It has helped me learn to always follow my own path because you should want to live someone else life.
What does acting mean to you?
To me, my art is a form of self-expression. It’s important to be able to really make other people connect to my art.
Who are your idols?
My idols are Taylor Swift, Caterina Scorsone, Audrey Hepburn, and Lili Reinhart.
If you didn’t like acting, what would you like to do?
Well, if I didn’t love what I do, I would most likely be going into sports medicine and become a physical therapist for an NFL team.
Do you consider that nowadays there are more or less opportunities for new artists? Why?
I feel like nowadays there are both more and less opportunities for artists. There is a little bit more opportunities with social media that I feel there wasn’t before, but I also feel as if that takes a little bit of the pull away from actresses and actors.
What would your idyllic life as an artist be like?
My idyllic life as artist would be maybe booking more jobs and do a little bit more acting but right now, I’m grateful for every opportunity I’m given.
Which are your upcoming projects?
I have a few things coming up that I can’t talk about right now. As always, though I am working on my Instagram to bring more attention to Down syndrome.
