When did you start to get interested in music?

I have always been surrounded by music, I was born in Jamaica and music is everywhere I really love dancehall it is a huge part of the Jamaican culture where I grew up. During my elementary and high school years my teachers would place me into music clubs, enter me into competitions and send me to showcase musical pieces at events.

My parentS did not believe it was important and turned my focus to software engineering.

When I migrated to America this is where I began my own platform and started bring my artistry to life which I am now known for my work.

If you were an advertisement, which would your slogan be?

It would be peace and love.

Which is the part you enjoy the most about music?

I enjoy all of it! I love creating, performing and providing content. I love bring my artistry to life and making others happy through my work.

Most artists say that through their art they learn more about themselves, heal injuries… In which aspects has music helped you?

I grew up in a very small island called Jamaica. I migrating to America in 2013. Being from a different country and having a communication barrier placed me in an unnecessary and unfortunate situation once. Music has helped to adapt and push through the ups and downs of being new to a Country. Music helps me to feel energized.

What does music mean to you?

Music is my passion it is who I am. I am the happiest when creating my songs and bring my music to life. Writing a song and making music is a time where I focus and take time for myself to reflect. I am always ready to give 100% and writing music allows me to express what I feel and my creativity.

Who are your idols?

I really adore James Cameron.

If you didn’t like music, what would you like to do?

For me that is not possible. I am art.

Do you consider that nowadays there are more or less opportunities for new artists? Why?

Definitely more. The expansion of social media and outlets such as has allowed for many to showcase their talent. Social media is the primary way we all stayed connected and now it is such a big part of our lives. Different forms of social media are expanding everyday.

What would your idyllic life as an artist be like?

My idyllic life as an artist would be to see the world in harmony. I would work a few less hours in the days and be able to read for the rest of the day.
