Interview

When did you start to get interested in music?

I started acting on my own at a young age, I think I was 4 or 5. I was putting on shows for my family. I made up plays where I would be the whole cast and play different parts and I did my own commercials. When I was 8 I started at Hollywood Huntsville acting studio in Huntsville and fell in love with acting.

I studied there with Bill and Ayoka Billions, it was a lot of fun and made me want to learn more and more! I take classes with Brian Stepanek and study under Neal Matazzaro now and have a lot of fun learning and growing as an actor.

If you were an advertisement, which would your slogan be?

They call me biscuit, because I’m on the rise!

Which is the part you enjoy the most about music?

I really enjoy expressing myself creatively. Another reason I love acting, is well my life can be pretty boring at times. Don’t tell my parents. We are kind of a typical family that just does the same things over and over.

Getting into other characters and stories let’s me experience a whole new world. It’s really fun getting to be a different person in different situations.

What does music mean to you?

A chance to grow in creativity while having a lot of fun and making new friends.

Who are your idols?

Millie Bobby Brown is definitely one of my favorites I think she is super cool. Brian Stepanek because he is great with comedy and a fantastic teacher. Bindi Erwin because she is an animal activist and I appreciate that about her!

If you didn’t like music, what would you like to do?

I enjoy studying bugs. I would like to study entomology. I am growing a huge colony of isopods and springtails. I probably have about 4000 to 5000 of them now in my bioactive tank. I started with 50. It is really interesting to study them and how they affect our eco system.

Do you consider that nowadays there are more or less opportunities for new artists? Why?

I think there are more and they have a wide range from short films to episodic to feature films. Colleges offer short film auditions and you can get started there and really learn about how things work on set. It is a great place to start.

What would your idyllic life as an artist be like?

My idyllic life would be getting parts that really challenge me. Parts that are different from my regular life where I can learn about characters’ lives in the script, their personality and maybe travel to other places and learn about other cultures.
