Rising star Camryn Quinlan’s talent shines through in everything she does whether it’s creating her own original music or performing as a member of Acapop! KIDS. At just 13-years old, Camryn has already proven the immeasurable power and depth of her vocal abilities. Last year, Camryn was selected to be part of Warner Records’ youth acapella group Acapop! KIDS, created by the founding members of Pentatonix. More recently, she released her latest original single “Ain’t No Second Chance” – showing off her vocal versatility and overall proving that she is a dynamic force to be reckoned with.

When did you start to get interested in music?
I have been interested in music ever since I could talk. I asked for formal lessons when I was 6 years old.
If you were an advertisement, which would your slogan be?
Always follow your heart.
Which is the part you enjoy the most about music?
I love performing live for audiences the most. Seeing people enjoying my music makes it all worthwhile.
Most artists say that through their art they learn more about themselves, heal injuries… In which aspects has music helped you?
Music has helped me work through my feelings, hard times or stress. I write a lot when I am going through something. It is very helpful.
What does music mean to you?
Music means everything to me. It is my life.
Who are your idols?
My idols are Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys and Tyler the Creator.
If you didn’t like music, what would you like to do?
I would play sports or become an artist.
Do you consider that nowadays there are more or less opportunities for new artists? Why?
That’s a hard question to answer. I have been lucky to have so many wonderful opportunities, but right now the world has sort of stopped. I am just working on my craft so I am be ready when an opportunity comes.
What would your idyllic life as an artist be like?
I hope one day to be touring, writing albums and being on the radio.
