Interview

When did it all start?
It started in Argentina, where I embarked on a journey that would shape my creative path. It began when I enrolled in school to study advertisement, eager to explore the world of visual communication and storytelling.

I discovered my passion for the creative aspects of advertisement, particularly the realm of design. With a newfound enthusiasm, I sought opportunities to put my skills into practice. That’s when I landed a position at We-Tag, a reputable travel agency in Buenos Aires. Working there allowed me to combine my love for design with the excitement of the travel industry, crafting eye catching marketing materials. I eventually embarked on a new chapter in Los Angeles, were I had the privilege of working at Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, where I got the opportunity to partner with renowned brands such as Oreo, Hershey’s, Hi Chew, and even contribute to the design work for movies like Scooby-Doo, Pikachu the Movie, Peppa Pig, and Gabby’s Dollhouse. It was an exhilarating experience that allowed myself to showcase my creative skills and passion for design.

Now, I am thrilled to be working in the hospitality industry as a designer for Jiti, a Los Angeles-based brand known for its exceptional pillows. The team collaborates on designing exquisite pillows for high-profile residences of celebrities and prestigious hotels and clubs including Soho House, 1Hotel, and Hoxton, among others.
If you were an advertisement, what would your slogan be?
Spreading smiles and pixel perfect fun, one design at a time!
What does your career mean to you?
My career is everything to me. Is not just about the titles or achievements, it’s about the journey of growth, continuous learning, and pushing boundaries. It’s about honing my skills, expanding my knowledge, and embracing new challenges that come my way.

Through my career, I have discovered my strengths, unlocked hidden talents, and developed a deep sense of self confidence. I believe that my journey and collaborations highlight the power of dedication, hard work, and a passion for design. My story showcases how an aspiring designer from Argentina was able to make a mark in the industry, collaborate with renowned brands, and contribute to the aesthetic appeal of notable residences and establishments.
What is your main motivation?
My main motivation is the constant pursuit of growth. I am driven by a deep desire to continuously improve and surpass my own expectations. The thrill of setting ambitious goals and working to achieve them is what keeps me going. I am also fueled by the opportunity to make a positive impact.

Knowing that my work has the potential to inspire, or help others in their journey gives me a sense of purpose. Making a difference, no matter how small, makes me want to go above and beyond in everything I do.
What is the part you enjoy the most? And the worst?
The part I enjoy the most about my career as a designer is the opportunity to bring creative ideas to life. Being able to take a concept, visualize it, and transform it into a tangible and visually captivating design is immensely fulfilling.

I thrive on the process if exploring different aesthetics, experimenting with colors and typography. I enjoy crafting designs that evoke emotions and resonates with audiences. The sense of pride that comes from seeing my work appreciated and making s positive impact is truly rewarding.

On the other hand, I find most challenging as a designer, managing tight deadlines and balancing multiple projects simultaneously. Design projects often come with strict timelines, demanding clients and unexpected revisions. Navigating these pressures can sometimes be overwhelming and require exceptional time management and adaptability. I have learned to embrace these challenges as opportunities for growth, finding ways to maintain focus, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality designs within given deadlines.

Despite the challenges, the overall enjoyment and sense of fulfillment I experience far outweigh any difficulties.
Who are your idols?
My idols are undoubtedly my parents. While it may sound cliché, they have been my ultimate source of inspiration. They have shown me the true meaning of hard work, determination, and unwavering support. Witnessing their relentless dedication and sacrifices throughout their lives has deeply impacted me. They have taught me the value of perseverance, resilience, and the importance of never giving up on my dreams. Their belief in my abilities has fueled my own self-belief and has been the driving force behind my pursuit of success.
In case you need a break in your career, what else would you like to do?
If I were to take a break from my career, one of the things I would travel the world and immerse myself in different cultured and communities. The opportunity to explore and experience the diverse tapestry of our world is incredibly enticing. Traveling opens our minds and broadens our perspectives, allowing us to connect with people from all walks of life.

I would also indulge my passion for photography, capturing the essence of all these different places, people and moments. Photography allows me to tell stories, evoke emotions and share my unique perspective with others, similar to graphic design.
Do you consider that nowadays there are more or less opportunities for new artists? Why?
In today’s digital age the opportunities for new artists are a mixed bag. On one hand, there is an abundance of platforms and avenues for artists to showcase their work and reach a global audience. Social media, online galleries, and portfolio websites provide a virtual stage for artists to display their talents and connect with potential collaborators. This accessibility has opened doors for emerging artists to gain exposure. However there are challenges arising alongside with these opportunities.

The automated design tools, and platforms like Canva, has made it easier for individuals with limited artistic skills to create visually appealing content, this can result in increased competition and limit the market for new artists as well
What would your idyllic life be like?
In my idyllic life, I envision a world where financial worries do not exist, allowing me to fully immerse myself in my passions and pursue a fulfilling and enriching lifestyle. I would have the freedom to explore my creative talents in styling, photography, and travel without the limitations.

Sometimes life gets stress full as we all experience, but being able to enjoy the present moment, nurture my well being and cultivate meaningful relationships at its fullest its ultimately what matters the most. A life filled with creativity, exploration and fulfillment, where my passions intertwine harmoniously to create a meaningful existence.
What are your next projects?
My next projects revolve around continuing to design and collaborate with important brands through my work at Jiti. I am excited to bring life to the ideas and visions of our clients, creating bespoke and exceptional designs that enhance their spaces. I aim to solidify our reputation and attract an even larger base of clients, forging partnerships with renowned establishments in the hospitality industry.

I am also eager to explore new avenues and opportunities within the realm of design. I am committed to pushing boundaries and staying at the forefront of the industry.
