MUSIC SAVED MY LIFE…
In 2018, I picked up a pen and began writing songs to heal from the sexual, emotional, and verbal abuse I suffered. My first single “No Good At Love”, from my album titled “Daddy’s Issues”, is about how I never felt clean enough to love myself or others. I took many showers a day trying to wash off the feeling of being dirty brought on by guilt and shame. Through writing this title track, I was able to heal quickly. As I began to write more and more songs, I was able to navigate through the pain, hurt, and disorders.
With a heart full of gratitude, I am 20 years old I am finally medication free. I am a singer, songwriter, survivor, and thriver with a heart to help others heal through my music.

Maxx - Interview
When did you start to get interested in music?
I was first interested in music around the age of 2 but I started working on my own personal music in 2018.
If you were an advertisement, which would your slogan be?
Speak Now or forever hold your trauma.
Which is the part you enjoy the most about music?
Turning my pain into something I love! Writing about pain and emotion takes the power away from what happened to me and gives me my own power!
Most artists say that through their art they learn more about themselves, heal injuries… In which aspects has music helped you?
Sharing my story in my music has made the pain and struggles that I write about less painful. It has given me power and strength and the ability to believe in myself
What does music mean to you?
Music to me is an expression, a love, and a therapy for me and to others!
Who are your idols?
Taylor swift, Ariana Grande and Amy Winehouse
If you didn’t like music, what would you like to do?
I would be a horse trainer.
Do you consider that nowadays there are more or less opportunities for new artists? Why?
I think that with covid going on there are less opportunities for performing artists because venues are closed but more for artists that write and record their music because they are able to have more time in the studio creating.
What would your idyllic life as an artist be like?
My idyllic life as an artist is to be a world famous pop star. That would include being consumed by music everyday. I want to constantly be working on music whether I am writing it, performing it or talking about it. I also want to be very involved in my fans lives. I want my fans to hear my music, relate to my lyrics and know that they can reach out to me for anything!
