When did you start to get interested in music?

As soon as my parents bought me a karaoke machine when I was five years old! After that I fell in love with music and have been writing ever since.

Tell us about your favorite song on your new ep?

It’s so hard to pick a favorite because each one of those songs is so special to me for a different reason. But if I were to give you a favorite I would have to say “Showers To Flowers” only because it was definitely the most emotionally vulnerable song on the EP and performing that song live is such a healing feeling for me. I wrote that song about a very difficult time in my life that I hadn’t completely healed from. So! I decided to finally deal with it years later and that song almost became therapy for me to heal from my past situation. 
 
If you were an advertisement, which would your slogan be?

She sings, she acts, she dances and she definitely doesn’t do math! 
 
Which is the part you enjoy the most about music?

Performing it live. I love writing music and the sessions that go into making the sound of the track but performing live for me is the most incredible feeling for me and nothing can compare to that.
 
Most artists say that through their art they learn more about themselves, heal injuries… In which aspects has music helped you?

Completely. Music has healed my heart and given me a way to convey my emotions and in a way force myself to heal and deal with my pain. Music is definitely my therapy and it has brought me so much peace throughout my life.
 
What does music mean to you?

For me music means everything. There’s really no word to describe how much I love music. How I love listening to a piano for hours, how many times I can listen to the same song and feel a different emotion every time,  the feeling you get closing your eyes and imagining a story come to life through song. Music is an amazing thing that I know touches many more than just me. 
 
Who are your idols?

Music wise definitely Jessie J! Her commitment to the stage, her presence and her incredible vocals are honestly just so inspirational!
 
If you didn’t like music what would you like to do?

What I’m doing now! Acting and dancing are two things I also love very much so if I wasn’t in music I would still be acting and dancing.
 
Do you consider that nowadays there are more or less opportunities for new artists? Why?

Yes and no. It is harder nowadays because there are so many different outlets artists can use to get their music heard which makes it harder to get singled out amongst the many talented artists out there . But at the same time it gives independent artists specifically so many more chances of getting heard and possibly seen as well because you can do it without a label nowadays.
 
What would your idyllic life as an artist be like?

Touring and performing live. I don’t care for who or where as long as I’m on stage I’m happy.
