The sad and at the same time hopeful pop single, Alone, was written and recorded during lockdown in California. The melody and lyrics were written by Stefania Lily. The clever written lyrics with a surprising twist at the end, gives hope and Stefania’s gentle voice, gliding over the music, leaves listeners feeling good (dreaming about better future).
The song was written during summer of 2020. During COVID-19 lockdown Stefania Lily volunteered at a local food pantry and heard many stories of brokenness from the people coming to get food and other supplies. Many of the stories were of broken relationships. That’s when the song was born. It tells listeners that sometimes no matter how hard you try not every relationship in life will workout, but the best ones will
